Seven-man Roma, escaped with a savior El Sarawi!

by

She was stressed, strained, but smiled in the final for her third consecutive victory this year. Rome! The “jalorossi” found it dark against the Monzawhich lasted with a player less until the 90th minute when and El Sarawi redeemed his team (1-0).

His team climbed to 14 points and 6th place, albeit temporarily Jose Mourinhowhile the visitors saw their five-game unbeaten run snapped and run to 12.

Superior throughout the game Roma, who had control, possession and supremacy. The good phases against the well-prepared Monza, however, were slow to come after the first big chance came in the 37th minute with Awar who failed to beat Di Gregorio. Four minutes later, D’Ambrosio was shown a second yellow card and left the visitors with ten men, while the Monza keeper saved Belotti’s shot late in the half to keep it 0-0.

Monza was the first to threaten in the second half with Kolpani in the 50th minute, while a quarter later Birintelli was close to the goal and to… freeze the “Olympic”. Roma took the lead in the 73rd minute, but Lukaku saw his shot hit the crossbar, while Azmoun’s effort in the 89th minute had the same result. Finally, the pressure of the “Gallorossi” paid off after the completion of the 90th minute and after the… carambolas in the opposing area, the ball was laid to El Saraoui who with a shot in motion executed Di Gregorio for 1-0, setting “fire » on the field.

The extra… ten minutes that the referee kept for delays did not bring anything. Dismissals for the coaches of both teams, but also a good phase in the final for Monza, with Rui Patricio keeping a clean sheet and a great win for Roma.
