The Kings begin their NBA duties against the Jazz in the early hours of Thursday (26/10), with Sasha Vezenkov to expect his debut in Sacramento.
In fact, a… negative news for the California team is perhaps positive for the Bulgarian forward. Specifically, Mr Trey Lyles he did not train with the rest of the team and did an individual program with a problem in his left calf, so he will not compete in the premiere.
THE Lyles he is, in theory, his alternate player Keegan Murray at the “4” spot, so in his absence, Vezenkov may move up into the rotation and can hope for high playing time in his debut.
This is also confirmed by the training of the Kings, where essentially the first group, that of the basics, consisted of Aaron Fox, Kevin Herter, Harrison Barnes, Keegan Murray and Domantas Saboniswhile in the second group, of substitutes, participated Wezenkoff, along with DeVion Mitchell, Malik Monk, Chris Duarte and JaVale McGee.
Looks like Fox, Huerter, Barnes, Murray and Sabonis with the first group. Mitchell, Monk, Duarte, Vezenkov and McGee in the second group. No sign of Trey Lyles. pic.twitter.com/zDspz2Urn8
