Panathinaikos: “We are protecting our home ground in the match against Rennes as well”

Announcement-update to the fans of the team who will go to the Avenue for the match of the 3rd matchday of the Europa League groups against the opponent WrenPAE Panathinaikos issued.

The “greens” wanted to draw attention to the fans, calling on them to protect the headquarters of the team.

The announcement in detail:

Friends of Panathinaikos,

Tonight our team plays another great European match in the group stage of the Europa League, against the French Rennes, which they welcome at “Apostolos Nikolaidis” at 10 pm!

In order to help the efforts of our footballers, for everything to run smoothly and for everyone to enjoy the European games that follow, we should point out once again that UEFA has a very strict framework for conducting matches and Panathinaikos has no leeway. Tonight our Boulevard should show its best image. Therefore, all of us should have the appropriate behavior and everyone should work protectively for the club.

This means that smoke machines, sparklers, firecrackers, banners with political messages, lasers, staying on internal door steps and any inappropriate behavior are prohibited and are actions that can endanger the smooth running of the match!

For all of the above, UEFA is very meticulous and in the event of delinquent behavior, the risk of punishment for our team will be certain. It should be pointed out that PAE, in order to safeguard the interests of the club, will take strict measures and take legal action against those found to be damaging the team with their behavior.

Regarding the orderly attendance of fans at the stadium, the following is announced:

The stadium gates will open three hours before the start of the match, that is at 19:00.

Gates 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 located on Tsoha Street will be closed for security reasons from 19:45 to 20:45.

By decision of the Greek state, the physical control of the fans upon entering the gates of the stadium will now be carried out by the Greek Police.

In order to avoid overcrowding and more effectively manage the fans who come to the stadium, six (6) pre-checkpoints will operate to check tickets and identity.

Particularly:

-Ticket holders of gates 13-14 will pass exclusively through Pre-Checks 1 & 6.

-Ticket holders of gates 8-9-10-11-12 will go through Pre-Checks 2 & 3.

-Ticket holders of gates 6-7 will go through Pre-Checks 4 & 5.

– Regarding gates 1-2-3-3B-5, the control of the fans will be done exclusively at the gates.
