With a “breakout” from the second period onwards, Monaco swept Maccabi Tel Aviv 107-79 in the Principality for the fifth game of the Euroleague to reach 3-2, leaving the champions Israel at 2-2 and with a match in hand.
The French reached +14 at the conclusion of the first half, but in the replay with many runs in the third and fourth periods they reached +30 and +32 and finished the match at +28.
