They knew Bochum in… dead time Mainz!

by

The last derby was a draw with a win Mainz. Bochum came one breath away from making it… safe in this year’s Bundesliga, but the visitors took the bite out of their mouths, drawing the final 2-2 effectively in the dead of breath. Klaus’ goal at 90’+6′ saw the hosts, who reached five points, while Mainz has three. The two teams remain the only ones without a win in the league.

The 22-year-old midfielder equalized with a powerful shot from the semi-circle, the ball countered and rested in the opposing net. Schlosserbeck’s header in the 82nd minute from a corner seemed to be enough to give Bochum the win.

In this way, the 26-year-old defender had found a way to atone for the own goal he scored in the 59th minute, which made it 1-1. The score opened in the 21st minute with a penalty by Stroger.
