The new and renewed PAOK couldn’t keep up with his pace Olympiakouknowing the away defeat with 3-0 set at “Melina Merkouri”, for the 1st matchday of the Volley League.
Speaking after the match, Mr Josko Milenkoski, he congratulated the “red and white” for the victory, stressing that they were better and superior throughout the match. At the same time, he referred to the new roster of the “two-headed team of the north”, expressing his belief that this year will be stronger than last year.

“Congratulations to Olympiakos, they deserved the win, they played better and deserved the win. We made a lot of mistakes especially in the first set. We played well on offense but we made a lot of service errors and you can’t win a set with that many errors. In the second set we were bad, but in the third set we showed some of our quality.
It may sound a bit optimistic and less realistic but I think that this year we are closer to the quality of Olympiakos than we were last year. I believe we will show that in the near future.
We’ve only been training for a few days with the whole roster, we haven’t even played a friendly with this seven. We are a new team so I understand our mistakes to a point. We are a team with a perspective and I think we will show that by working on our mistakes.”
