The sports facilities of the General Secretariat of Sports in Alcazar are locked after a relevant decision communicated by the management of EAK Larisa.

According to onlarissa.gr, the decision, as highlighted, was taken after the conclusions of the second stage of the study, in which inadequacies were found, in accordance with the legally permitted levels of static adequacy.

The announcement in detail:

“Within the context of the contract of the General Secretariat of Sports with a contractor Research Company for the preparation of a Static Adequacy Study in the Alcazar Indoor Gymnasium, the Indoor Swimming Pool and the Alcazar Stadium, the General Secretariat of Sports communicated to us the conclusions of the 2nd stage of the study, in which inadequacies were found, according to the regulatory permissible levels of static adequacy.

Based on the above conclusions and the instructions from the Technical Service of the GGA, with a sense of responsibility, all activities (sports and cultural, etc.) at the Alcazar Indoor Gymnasium are suspended from today in all three facilities
in the Indoor Swimming Pool

in the Alcazar Stadium, except for the outdoor areas (football field and open track and field)

Our Service has requested from the technical Services of the General Secretariat of Sports, the dispatch of an echelon in order to check the possibility of partial use of the facilities,

as well as the immediate completion of the study of static interventions and their implementation, with the aim of their immediate performance, safely.

We share the disruption in the sports family, but it is understandable that we must operate with the sole focus of the safety of athletes, athletes and fans”.
