Petrusev’s future in the Clippers is uncertain

The NBA was … rocked by his trade James Hardenwho of the Sixers moved to the Clippers.

At the same time, in order to complete the relevant deal, several players from the teams took the opposite route. One of them, therefore, was Philip Petrushev.

This summer, the 23-year-old forward/center moved to the other side of the Atlantic, as the team from Philadelphia owned his rights after selecting him in the 2021 draft at the number “50”.

With the move of “Musia” to Los Angeles, the Serb made the same… route. However, according to Law Murray Petrusev’s future in the Clippers it is not guaranteed. In particular, within the next few days the team from California will decide whether to keep him or not. And that’s because, it already has a full front line with Ivica Zubac, Mason Plumlee, but also Moussa Diabate, who has a two-way contract.

Meanwhile, last season Petrusev had a very good year -individually- in his shirt Red Star in the Adriatic league and Euroleague, so if he is released by the Clippers and doesn’t find another contract in the NBA, then he will logically be in demand in Europe.
