Great reinforcement for the wheelchair basketball department of Panathinaikos, with the addition of Marton Balcherovski to the team.
The father of the “Cloverleaf” center, Alexander Barchelovski, had initially agreed to join the team as a technical advisor.
However, the discussions continued and the experienced athlete, who has rich experiences from major events, joined hands with the people of the “clover” to strengthen the team as a player as well.

“The Panathinaikos Sports Club announces the start of its cooperation with Marcin Balcerovski as an athlete of the wheelchair basketball team.
Panathinaikos made a great transfer move as they convinced Marcin Balcerovski to play for the Club’s wheelchair basketball team.
Although he was initially agreed to be a technical advisor to the team due to his presence in Greece with his son, he was nevertheless convinced to wear the green jersey and compete with the “clover”.
The father of the new center of Panathinaikos is one of the greatest figures of wheelchair basketball in Poland, managing – among other things – to lead the team as a player to the 6th place of the World Championship in 2018, when he earned a place in the best five of the tournament .
In a statement to www.pao1908.com, Balcherowski said: “I am happy to finally compete as an athlete on the Club’s wheelchair basketball team.
The people of Panathinaikos conveyed to me a great plan for the team and finally I will also be a member of the team and I will strengthen the maximum to conquer our goals and make our fans happy””
