His first victory in the Euroleague as his coach Red Star took the Yannis Sfeiropoulos!
The “red and whites” of Belgrade found their backs against the… wall midway through the third period, when they found themselves trailing by 14 points, however, thanks to a terrible last quarter, they turned the match upside down and won by a score 74-68 over Bayern Munich in the packed “Stark Arena” for the 6th matchday of the competition!
A big star for the winners was… haughty, Milos Teodosic, who, with an appearance from the past and an impressive double-double (16 points, 11 assists), led his team to the upset. He was closely followed by Mitrovic with 11 points and 6 rebounds, while Santos was pivotal, who with his own three-pointer in the last seconds, “cleaned up” the match!
For the Bavarians who fell to 2-4 – the same record as the Serbs – Edwards and Bolmaro stood out with 16 points and 12 points respectively.
The match:

During that time, Bayern Munich turned up the heat and with Edwards and Ibaka easily finding their way to the opposing basket, the quarter ended at +7 for 19-12. The Bavarians continued to have the upper hand on the scoreboard with relative ease and thanks to some big three-pointers they scored and at +9 (26-35) at 17′. The creations of Milos Teodosic, who “set up” his teammates with final passes, gave “breath” to Red Star, who reduced at 59-53 of the quarter.
With the Serb leading the “red and white” attack, Sfairopoulos’ team entered the final period very strongly, where thanks to a partial score of 12-1 they went ahead 65-60 in the 35th minute!
