Panathinaikos: Jovanovic is preparing changes for Lamia

by

Panathinaikos’ preparations for tomorrow’s (4/11) away match against Lamia have entered the final stretch as part of the 10th round of the Stoiximan Super League.

The “greens” treat this particular game as a “battle” which, if they win, will help them on the one hand to stay at the top of the standings and on the other hand to build their psychology in view of the confrontation with Wren in France for the 4th matchday of its groups Europa League.

Of course, this particular match is also a bet, since the “clover” wants to continue the good tradition it has so far in the region with the victories over Asteras and Panaitolikos and will look for a quick goal which will “unlock” the opposing defense but also remove stress.

Ivan Jovanovic in Thursday’s training saw him Tony Villena to fully recover his injury and to be essentially ready for the match against “Athanassios Diakos”, while good news was also “brought” by Eric Palmer-Brown who started an individual program.

As far as the eleven is concerned, the Serbian coach will throw in the match the players who are 100% and show their best face in the last games. THE Brignoli will return in the goalposts, while in defense Kotsiras may remain on the right, while Jedvai, Schenkefeld and Mladenovic will be the remaining three.

Arao will start in midfield and despite the return of Villena, Cerin will be in the starting line-up alongside the Brazilian. Djuricic gathers the most chances to take a place in the “10”, while it is very possible to stay in his eleven Benjamin Verbich who was excellent in the match against Panserraikos. Palasios is on the right, while another change that is likely to be made is the one at the top of the attack with Ioannidis starting instead of Sporar.
