Brazilian GP: Qualifying was interrupted due to bad weather, Verstappen took pole

He took pole position in his episodic qualifying Brazilian Grand Prix The Max Verstappen!

Although the procedure interrupted in Q3 due to very severe weatherthe Dutch Red Bull pilot had managed to set the fastest time (1,10,727), taking his 11th pole of the year and ensuring that he will start from first place in Sunday’s race!

The second fastest time was made by Leclerc with Ferrari (1.11.021), from third place will start o Stroll (1,11,344), while the top five will be completed by Alonso and Hamilton.

Q1 started on a dry track, with Norris setting a very fast pace and Leclerc taking first place from him when he put on his fresh tyres. The Aston Martins with Stroll and Alonso were impressive, while Hulkenberg finished his efforts in 3rd place. Tsunoda, Ricciardo, Bottas, Sargent and Zhou were left out.

Q2 finished with Sainz moving up to second and Alonso passing him, before Lando Norris came to take the lead. Hulkenberg, Ocon, Gasly, Magnussen and Albon were out.

In the Q3 the dark clouds made their appearance, with the pilots taking to the track so as to overtake it dry. Verstappen set the fastest lap at the start, beating out the rain, with Leclerc taking second place from Stroll. Then came the storm, with the organizers deciding the final stop, which gave pole position to Verstappen!
