Staikos: “I will talk to the management soon and it will be the best for the team”

The coach of “Ajax of Epirus” referred to the problems he currently has in the team and revealed that soon there will be discussions with management in order to make decisions about the future. Among other things, Thanasis Staikos emphasized that whatever is expected to happen will have something to do with it only for the good of the team.

It should be noted that the atmosphere after the match was tense outside the locker room of PAS Ioannina, with the team’s coach and general captain to have tet-a-tet with a portion of followers, who awaited the expedition on its departure.

“It was a game that we really wanted, we wanted the victory because for some time we were coming from a losing streak. Unfortunately we didn’t make it although we came close. I don’t want to analyze the game too much. After all, the course of the team, the results and the points are important.

We made some internal changes and balanced it. In the second half we were more threatening, we showed that we will create conditions and thus we achieved a goal. We didn’t go back straight away, it’s just that the instinct of the players when you come from back-to-back defeats worked so that they took some steps back to preserve the result. We were not threatened, except by two static phases. We conceded a goal again from a not so skilled player in the high game. To analyze it too much… We wanted the victory, we could say a lot, but when the result is not the desired one, the analyzes can be long”.
