THE Finnish businessman, Tomas Ziliakousannounced in an interview with the newspaper “La Repubblica” that he is interested in her Inter market and in fact is going to submit a proposal for the majority of its shares.
“This or next week at the latest, the current owner of Inter will receive a sufficient offer to buy the club. I have various investors, small and large, families and institutional investors. The offer will be made by XXICenturyCapital, a Singapore-based company with interests in football and fashionZiliakous emphasized.
According to the same newspaper, the proposal will amount to 2.5 billion euros for the purchase of Inter, owned by the Suning Group and Stephen Zhang.
The 67-year-old man, whose great-grandfather was the mayor of Helsinki, started as Nokia executive and has since expanded into other areas of business activity, notably technology and investment.
In the past he was the owner of Helsinki, from 1989 to 1995 he had a team in Singapore, while in March 2023 he had submitted a $4 billion bid to buy Manchester United representing a group of businessmen, but to no avail.
