“KAE PAOK mateco announces the agreement with the American basketball player Justin Alston, who is already in Thessaloniki, in order to integrate immediately with our team.
Justin Alexander Alston was born on July 2, 1994, he is 2m04 tall and plays as a center.
He is a graduate of Boston University (12 points, 6 rebounds per game in his final season, 2016-17), while during his professional career he played…
In the German Trier, in the 2017-18 season, with 11.9 points, 6 rebounds and 53.3% shooting.
In Latvia with Parnu in the 2018-19 season, with 13.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 61.5% on 2-pointers.
In the 2019-20 season interrupted by the pandemic, he managed to play in 6 games (20.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 56% on 2-pointers) with Madeira in Portugal, to return the following year (2020-21) , this time with Oliveirense (15.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 61.1% on 2-pointers).
In the 2021-22 season he played in Hungary and with Naturtex he had 11.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 54% on 2-pointers, while during last season he played in Lithuania. He played in 35 games with Juventus Utena, averaging 12.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 60.3% on 2-pointers. In three of those games, he faced Rytas Vilnius and now-teammate Elvar Fridriksson.
After completing his time in the Lithuanian league, he played in three games of the West Asian Super League, with Gorgan of Iran, with 8.3 points and 9.3 rebounds.
At the start of this season he signed for Ramat Gan, but did not play in an official game and withdrew due to the war. He returned to the US but made the transatlantic journey again as he agreed to a deal with Hapoel Holon. The postponement of the Holon matches that were to take place in Turkey was essentially the reason for not officially starting this collaboration. And from Cyprus, where he was in the last few days, the American center is now in Thessaloniki and is preparing to wear the PAOK shirt, with the number “32”.
