On 12/16 the championship match, on 1/31 the AEK-Olympiakos Cup match

On December 16, the postponed derby of the third matchday of the Handball Premier between AEK and Olympiakos will be held.

Also, the Cup match between the two teams was set for January 31, 2024 due to the obligations of the National team for the EURO 2024 qualifiers.

AEK- Olympiacos (Handball Premier)

The match of the third matchday of the Handball Premier AEK – Olympiacos SFP is set for Saturday 12/16/2023. The obligations of the two teams both in the Handball Premier and in Europe (AEK plays on Tuesday in the European League and Olympiacos on Wednesday for the matches of the Greek championship due to European obligations), but also the break for the preparation of the men’s national team, have make it impossible to define the race at any other earlier date.

Olympiacos – AEK (Men’s Cup)

Combined and for the precaution of the athletes who man our national team, in view of the final phase of EURO 2024, it was decided to move the Cup match for the third round from Wednesday 13/12/2023 to Wednesday 31/1/2024, since this it does not affect a third association, nor does it determine the course of the event.

AEK- Renaissance Arta (Women’s A1)

The match of the first A1 women’s competition AEK-Anagennisi Artas will be held on Saturday 9/12/2023. Although the clubs have obligations in the league (ninth matchday), the match was additionally defined as the best option, due to the fact that AEK is playing as the home team and Anagennisi as the away team in Athens (these games will be played on Sunday 10/12/2023), so that there is no burden on the travel of the hosted association on a daily-working day”.
