The defeat by Diagoras is still discussed. It was just a bad day at work. Through our everyday life, however, we identified what went wrong and simply drew our conclusions. We know what kind of team we are.”
On whether the word rise had been heard in preparation: “Since last season we have entered into a process of exchanging information in order to take the step up. The point and the essential goal was to be in contention for promotion. Let’s go to the playoffs and compete to the best of our abilities. I don’t make pictures of what will happen at the end of the season. For me, my goal is to build the team day by day.”
On the battle for promotion and which teams will go all the way: “Kalamata, Kallithea, Ionikos and we will be five. Every year there is also a surprise team. One of them this year is Ilioupoli, which has a good team.”
For the playoffs: “I think it’s a good thought and the best is vindicated. However, the reduction in points is a bit unfair.”
Chania’s style of play: “We want to play dominance football. We have to do a lot both when we have the ball and when we don’t. Sometimes we succeed and sometimes we don’t. But the basic principles of our game are energy and intensity. We like that.”
For Super League 2 problems: “I have always been in organizations with good partners. This league is unfair to people. Players, coaches, teams and people in general who can offer.
