THE Harry Kane makes a dream start with her Bayern Munichbeing the team’s top scorer so far with 21 goals and seven assists in 16 appearances.
The English striker gave an interview to “FourFourTwo”in which he referred to the details of his transfer from the Tottenham to the Bavarians, as well as to his adaptation to the club and to the passionate fans of German football.
“I didn’t really know what to expect as I had been at Tottenham for 19 years and was very happy there. So I left my comfort zone, for the first time I felt how these transfers work and to be a part of them“, he initially said and continued:
“Last season I focused on Tottenham and tried to help the club get as high as possible in the table. When the season ended I spoke to them and explained that I felt it was time to move on and push myself as far as I could. Then I went on vacation and that’s when the discussions started. I was sure the clubs would come to an agreement at some point“, while he also spoke about his first days in the team:
“I woke up on Saturday morning the 12th of August, went straight to training, met all the players for the first time and then we played the game that night. I was just at the airport. Like I said, it was crazy. Those first few days felt like I was going to a new school. I have dealt with many of the Bayern players in the past so it was nice to meet them all in person. It was a little surreal, but I really wanted to get started» and closed for the fans of German football:
“German football has some of the most passionate fans I have ever seen. I still remember when I saw the stands, heard the drums, saw all the banners and flags. This gave me chills. The fan culture in Germany surprised me from the start».
