At the OPAP Arena to closely watch the match between our national team and France, he was present Stefanos Tsitsipasmaking statements after the end of the game and talking about what he saw on the field, but also about his personal goals ahead of the new year.

In detail what he said:

For the players who left the best impressions on him: “I will start with the guests and Griezmann, he impressed me initially. From his movement and ability on the field. As also from Bakaseta. He did a tremendous job he was a warrior. And the youth of the national team feel that Constantelias is a great talent. It seemed and impressed me. He was a little awkward at first, but I understand him. I’ve been through these moments too. I wish him all the best”.

On whether he feels the burden of advertising Greece and filling the courts: “I don’t feel a burden, more pride and relief. I had a dream from a young age that tennis would be where it is now in our country. I always had Pagdati as an idol. I feel proud of what Maria (Sakkari) and I have achieved, we have worked hard, I feel proud with her and together we are building a base and giving a vision for younger kids to believe in so they can achieve even more than us. I really hope they reach higher than us”.

On his goal for the new year: “The goal is No. 1 in the world ranking and a grand slam in 2024. I like ’24’ as a number. My job is to be ready for a difficult and painful year”.
