They eliminated Mladost and PAOK is getting closer to qualifying

PAOK is getting closer to qualifying. The “two-headed” defeated Croatia’s Mladost 3-0 in the first leg of the CEV Cup Men’s Volleyball Round of 32 and took the first step towards qualifying for the round of 16 of the tournament, ahead of next week’s rematch in “Palataki”, where the Greek cup winners need a victory by any score or at worst a defeat by 2-3 sets to succeed.

PAOK did not start well, as they found themselves “chasing” big differences (7-3, 15-8) to reach 24-19. The “black and white” took the change, Van Harderen started serving and PAOK equalized 24-24 for Kokkinakis to take action, after his own good serve brought the counter to overtake (28-29) and with his only ace it became 0-1.

In the second set, PAOK took the lead after half time and kept it until the end, while in the third they prevailed much more easily for the final 0-3 set.

3rd set: 6-8, 12-16, 14-21, 19-25
