The race started with Leclerc pushing Verstappen but the Dutchman managing to stay ahead. The top two moved away, while Russell moved up to third after the first pit stops on lap 13. Verstappen was clearly faster than the rest, while Perez was constantly gaining places, until he reached 5th place, overtaking Alonso.
In the end, Verstappen comfortably saw the checkered flag first, with Perez finishing second but dropping to fourth after a five-second penalty, with Russell completing the podium.
