The ultimate in this year’s Stoiximan Basket League was expanded by Panathinaikos AKTOR on Sunday afternoon (26/11), with the “greens” winning harder than expected with 81-78 of Colossus in Rhodes.
Speaking after the match, Mr Alexander Balcherovsky he stood on the mediocre image of the “clover” in tonight’s match, stressing that everyone should improve immediately in order for the team to return to good performances.
Alexander Balcherovsky’s statements in detail:
“For sure we wanted to play better. We were not focused and we have to improve in the future. We may have won, but this is not the way we want to compete. We must all look at ourselves in the mirror, be more focused and better tomorrow.
We have to be ready in every match and not only in the European ones. We see that in the Basket League the teams are reducing and reaching us at the end and we have to be good in all the matches. We made some mistakes in defense and in attack we were not who we wanted to be.
What matters is concentration. I can’t say that today was the issue of fatigue. Of course we play continuous matches, but that doesn’t count and we have to win these games in whatever situation we are in.”
