Penalty two games behind closed doors accepted by decision of the First Instance Single-Member Judiciary Body of the E.O.K. The Panioniosfor events that took place in the match with Mykonos on 4/11.
With their announcement, the “blue and red” erupted against them events that happened on their pitch, which deprive the team of its audience, stressing that they will do everything they can to not repeated something similar.
Panioni’s announcement in detail:
“By decision of the First Instance Single-Member Judiciary Body of the E.O.K., PANIONIOS was punished with a disciplinary penalty of two matches behind closed doors for events that took place in the match with A.O. Mykonos on 4/11/2023.
This means that PANIONIOS will compete without the presence of its fans in the matches with Papagou (6/12 for the Cup) and Charilaos Trikoupis (9/12 for the Elite League Errikos Dunan).
On the occasion of this decision, the Management of KAE PANIONIOS has to submit the following:
1.Despite the efforts made by team officials and the fact that the reaction was the result of the “action” of a portion of opposing fans, such incidents are SAD and FOREIGN to our philosophy and do not honor either the Historical Association of PANIONIO or ourselves .
2. The team members must realize the enormous damage (at all levels) caused by the MINIMUM who do not adapt to the conditions that express fair play. And we call on them to isolate them and make it clear to them that anything that insults the history of PANIONIO and discredits the league is NOT ALLOWED.
3. From our side, we will do EVERYTHING so that such phenomena do not happen again and that those who cause problems stay OUT OF THE FIELD. Whichever side of the platform they are on.
Our team will be without the support of their friends, who PACK the stadiums, in two matches. This in itself must hold RESPONSIBLE for their responsibilities. And us first…
We inform you that in the event of a relapse, the punishment will have devastating consequences for the team.”
