Nikitas Kocheilas now belongs to the technical team of Vouliagmeni. The “babies” announced the recruitment of the international winger a few months after the decision to retire from active action.
In detail, the announcement:
“NO Vouliagmenis is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Nikitas Kocheilas.
Nikitas Kocheilas decided last spring to hang up his cap after a long and full of great moments sports career. Now, with his knowledge, ‘performances’, but also his ‘thirst’ for passing on his experiences, he will contribute from another position to Greek water polo and we are very happy to have him in the N.O. family. Vouliagmeni.
In his sports career, Nikitas Kocheilas went through Ethnikos, Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, PAOK, Hdraikos and Paleo Faliro, with whose colors he retired from active action.
With his arrival at the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club, it seems that the ‘group’ of the Youth team, the first team in Greece to win a gold medal, in 2001 at the World Championship that took place in Istanbul, is gathering again.
Specifically, Artin Elmisian (technical director), Stelios Protonotarios (children’s coach), Christos Afroudakis (water polo manager) and Giorgos Hatzidakis (young men’s coach and men’s assistant) are already in the bosom of NO Vouliagmenis, who all together climbed to the highest step of the podium”!
