The referees’ abstention in protest of the threats against Tasos Papapetrou’s life and several other cases affecting the industry leads with mathematical precision to the postponement of all action in its 14th matchday Stoiximan Super Leaguewhich was scheduled to take place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (December 9-11).
It seems that it is now standard procedure to announce the postponement of the entire matchday and the question that arises is when will the postponed matches take place in an already overloaded calendar after and the postponements of the Cup matches Panathinaikos-Olympiakos and AEK-Ariswhich were to take place this week.
The regulation provides that since the match is for the second round, the league must resume with the postponed matchdayunlike the first round, where the postponement means that the action continues with the next matchday and the postponed matches are set on the first available date.
This practically means that the matches of the 14th matchday will take place on the following weekend (where the 15th matchday would take place) and there will be a transfer of all the matches by one week.
At the moment, as there is still no official postponement of the matchday, the schedule for the 14th matchday is as follows:
Saturday 9/12
17:30: Kifissia – PAS Ioannina
20:00: Atromitos – Panathinaikos
Sunday 10/12
16:00: Panaitolikos – AEK
17:30: Panserraikos – Olympiacos
19:30: Lamia – Volos
20:30: Asteras Tripoli – PAOK
Monday 11/12
18:00: Aris – OFI
