THE Euroleague issued a statement that looks like… a report on the decisions of the referees in the last seconds of the match Partizan-Monaco (89-85) which took place on Tuesday, after the intense protests of the French team. The organizing authority admits essentially only one mistake, that of not calling an eight-second foul by the home team with the score at 87-85.
EuroLeague officially acknowledged “an incorrect no call” in the last seconds of the OT between Partizan & Monaco, as the referees “should have called an 8-second violation, which should have resulted in possession being awarded to Monaco”.pic.twitter.com/Bkof2w5obD

On the contrary, according to the announcement issued, all other decisions taken, either in the first phase or after examining the instant replay, are considered correct. These include:
– the decision to give the ball to Partizan after a misdirected shot by Motieyounas judging that Brown was the last to touch it.
-the decision to call a defensive and not an offensive foul on Dozier’s attempt on opponent Blossomgame, who was inside the half circle and not outside.
-the decision not to give a foul in favor of Motiegiounas in the next attack.
-the decision to upgrade Motiejunas’ foul on Smilagic from simple to unsportsmanlike.
