The Museum of Refugee Hellenism AEK opens its gates to the whole world!

As announced by the Union, next Tuesday (12/12) the Museum will be able to receive visitors, while the opening hours and other details are announced in the announcement.

As for the tickets, the regular ticket will cost 10 euros, the reduced ticket is 3 euros and the family ticket (2 adults + 2 children over 6 years old) is 22 euros.

In detail, the AEK announcement:

PAE AEK announces that from next Tuesday (12/12) the Museum of Refugee Hellenism will open its doors to the public, at the OPAP Arena, in New Philadelphia.

The opening hours of the Museum will be Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00.

Admission tickets to the Museum will be distributed as follows:

– Electronically through the Ticketmaster platform, with a credit or debit card, at www.ticketmaster.gr.

– By phone, at (+30) 211 19 81 535, 10:00-21:00 Monday – Sunday

– In person: Reception Museum (OPAP Arena). Hours of Operation: 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays).

Prices: Normal ticket 10 euros

Reduced ticket 3 euros

Family ticket 22 euros (2 adults + 2 children over 6 years old)

It is noted that those who purchase their tickets online have priority in choosing the time of visit.

On the days when AEK matches are held at the stadium, the Museum will be open until four (4) hours before the start of the match.

The following are entitled to a reduced ticket:

Learners (ages 6-17) during educational visits to schools and institutions of primary, secondary and tertiary education in the member states of the European Union and the European Economic Area.

• Solidarity Social Income (SSI) participants and their dependents, upon presentation of their police ID and certificate of free entry due to participation in the SSI program, for the stated period of participation in the program in question, as well as a valid document certifying their dependents.

• Holders of a national unemployment card, upon presentation of their police ID and valid unemployment certificate or its recent renewal.

• Persons with disabilities and one of their companions (the latter if the said disabled person has a disability of more than 67%), regardless of the country of origin, with the presentation of their police ID or passport and a Certificate of Disability E.F.K.A . (decision of the Disability Certification Center – KEPA) for the residents of the country or a similar certificate from a corresponding competent body abroad.

• The parents of large families in the country until the children reach the age of 25 or regardless of age if they have a disability, with the presentation of their police ID and a certificate of multi-child status from the Supreme Confederation of Multiple Children of Greece (ASPE), in validity, as well as E.F.K.A. Disability Certificate. (decision of the Center for Disability Certification – K.E.P.A.).

• The parents of three-child families in the country until the children reach the age of 25 or regardless of age if they have a disability, with the presentation of their police ID and family status certificate from the Municipality, in force, as well as a Disability Certificate E.F.K. A. (decision of the Disability Certification Center – KE.PA.).

• Those serving their military service, with presentation of a valid Hoplite Identity Card.

Free entry is available to:

• children up to 6 years of age in the country.

• refugees, upon presentation of an International Protection Applicant Card or Convention Travel Document of July 28, 1951 (passport of a recognized refugee) or Alien Travel Document (passport of a recognized beneficiary of subsidiary protection) or Residence Permit.

• the specialist scientists to whom permission is granted for the purpose of photographing, studying, designing or publishing exhibits, upon presentation of the relevant permission.
