In an incredible match with a mythical finale in normal time, Kuro Sengura’s team took the victory with the satisfying 114-109 on Prometheus of Patras in overtime, in the most impressive game of this year’s Stoiximan Basket League!

The pace was stormy in the first quarter, with both teams playing very aggressively, raising the score to high levels early on. Prometheus was unable to keep up with the frenetic pace of the home team, with Kofei and Etsenike being the only ones to connect with the opposing basket (!), narrowing the gap somewhat to 15 and the 82-67 of the quarter.
And while everything showed that Colossus was controlling the match and will get the pink match sheet, Prometheus, with a mythical counterattack in the fourth and last period he went to “steal” the match! With a three-pointer by Billy in the 37th minute, the hosts made it 94-80, “embracing” the victory. Despite all that, Mr Cowan he had the opposite opinion and with 15 personal points in the last three minutes, he sent the match to overtime! In fact, the 26-year-old guard me four points with 9 seconds left, put Prometheus in the driver’s seat (98-100), before Perantes with a follow-up buzzer beater sent the match to extra five minutes (100-100)!
The thriller continued in overtime, where neither team could build a good margin. Somehow, the game was decided on a shootout in the end, with Colossus taking a huge win with score 114-109.
