Boto: “I’m sorry that I didn’t offer what I wanted to PAOK – Change the mentality and thinking of the presidents in Greece”

by

Jose Boto gave his account of his presence at PAOK speaking to Metropolis of Thessaloniki.

The Portuguese, who spoke about his presence in the Thessaloniki team, referred to his life in the co-capital, emphasized that he never fit into the philosophy of Greek football, while among other things he wished PAOK to win the title at the end of the season!

His statements in detail:

“I spent a fantastic time in Thessaloniki. In terms of life it is a fantastic city to live in. I feel bad that I was not able to help PAOK achieve its goals. I never fit into the way of thinking of Greek football. I hope that at the end of the year PAOK will be champions because their fantastic fans deserve it.

I wish to all the people in charge of football not to adopt that we have a war in football because then they will not get a serious product, there are no families in the stands, and they will not produce the talent and good players. They should leave this way of thinking if they want Greek football to develop. The mentality and thinking of presidents and coaches must change because no government can do that because that is the only way they will see an attractive football. This is my wish for Greece, just as I wish the best for PAOK in the new year.”
