THE Yusuf Nurkic referred to punch which he received from Draymond Green in the Suns’ game against the Warriors. The Bosnian center believes that now the peculiar ace of the “warriors” needs help.
“What’s up with him? I do not know! Personally, I feel like this guy needs help. Good thing he didn’t try to choke me. This has nothing to do with basketball. I’m here to play basketball and he’s throwing punches left and right. We’ve seen it do this regularly. I hope whatever he’s going through in his life he gets over itNurkic emphasized.
For his part, Green publicly apologized but maintained that the hit was unintentional. “I thought he was pulling me and waved my arms to earn a foul. I don’t apologize for things I want to do, but I apologize to Nurkic because I didn’t mean to hit him. I’m not that good of a… pygmy to do a 360 degree turn and hit him. It was an unfortunate moment. You know me well for so many years, if I meant to hit someone, I never apologize“, he said.
As for Nurkic’s comments about wanting help, Green said: “I respect that, we all want help. None of us are perfect. He has a right to feel however he wants,” the Warriors forward said.
