“KAE Lavrio Megabolt announces its agreement with Kostis Godikas for the remainder of the 2023-2024 season.
Kostis Gondikas was born on March 15, 1994, is 2.06 m tall and plays as a center.
The international center played college basketball at New York University where he graduated averaging 11.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 102 games.
In 2016 he returned to Greece and started his professional career at Panathinaikos, where he played for one season.
In the 2017-2018 season, he played for Apollon Patras and the A2 championship.
He returned to the top division the following year as a player for Hefaistos Limnos, followed by stints at Peristeri (2019-2020) and AEK (2020-2021).
In the 2021-2022 season he was a member of Ionian Nikias and in the middle of the season he signed for Pitesti in Romania.
Last season he started in Karditsa, but from December he returned to Athens for a second term at AEK.
This year his year started in Rhodes and Kolossos before signing a contract with Lavrio Megabolt.
Kostis Gondikas was a member of the “small” National teams, while he was a member of the Men’s National team in the qualifying matches for the 2023 World Cup.
