Olympiacos apologizes for what happened in the derby with Panathinaikos in Rentis

In Olympiacos was asked to apologize by ESAP about what happened on Thursday night in the derby with Panathinaikos for the quarter-finals of the League Cup at “Melina Merkouri”.

The Single Member Judicial Body of the Greek Volleyball Federation calls on the “red and white” next Friday (15/12) to apologize for the final suspension of the match, after the incidents that took place outside the indoor stadium in Rentis and led to the serious injury of a police officer.

The announcement in detail:



“ESAP’s MDO, bearing in mind the provisions of the articles…

… 1, 10, 13, 14, 17 par. 1, 2B, 18, 19, 31 par. 1, 39, 49 and 50 of the Special Disciplinary Regulation of the E.S.A.P. in combination with articles 9.2 of the Proclamation Volley League 2023-2024, 1, 5 of the EOPE Disciplinary Law, 11 par. 5 and 6 of the League Cup Special Proclamation 2023-2024.

He calls the T.A.A. Olympiacos S.F.P., as on Friday 15.12.2023 at 12:00 o’clock, appear before us or submit a written memorandum to the secretariat of ESAP, regarding the alleged acts, as derived from the documents attached to this summons regarding the match which was held on 7.12.2023 at the “Melina Merkouri” Sports Center in Ag. Ioannis Rentis”.
