Statements ahead of his match Olympiakou with the Batska Topola in “Karaiskakis” for the last game in the group stage of this year’s Europa League, the coach of the Serbian team did, Zarko Lazetic.

The 41-year-old coach referred to the fact that the game will be played behind closed doors, stressing that he and the players would like to compete in a full stadium, but without saying the least about the alleged letter sent by his team to UEFAregarding the presence of her friends in the stands.

“It’s a loss for football in general. It is a big debate whether it is an advantage or not for us. We wanted to play in front of people and in such an atmosphere as the one that is created at the Olympiakos stadium. We thought that the presence of the people would give us greater courage. It will look like a friendly match, when it is not. This is a game that judges a qualification. It is not an advantage neither for us nor for Olympiakos”said the Serbian coach.

According to the latest information, approx 100 Serbs have traveled to Athens for the game. However, it turns out that these are not fans, but VIPs and sponsors of the team, but only ten of them can enter “Karaiskakis” on Thursday night.

“We came for a match that will be competitive as a qualification is judged. We are very motivated, we know how big and historic Olympiacos is. This gives us additional motivation, as well as the fact that of course Olympiacos is the favorite”added the coach of Batska Topola, adding: “We will try to win, that is the goal, It is very difficult, as with Partizan and in the match with Olympiakos, we are capable of winning. Olympiacos is a huge name in the Balkans and in Europe, but we believe we can succeed.”
