He brought Brighton to his knees, got top and Arsenal is waiting, double-character for Aston Villa!

by

He “stepped” on Brighton and climbed to the top Arsenal. “Double” with a terrible upset at the headquarters of Brentford Aston Villa. He leveled Wolves n West Ham.

Arteta’s team was far superior to the “seagulls” and prevailed… only 2-0 at the Emirates, returning to winning ways, but also to first place, where it will remain unless Liverpool beat Manchester United.

To open the score n Arsenal the match had to reach the 53rd minute, with Jesus showing the way to victory, in a match in which the “gunners” had many chances, who were little threatened. It is indicative of the fact that they had 15 finals in the first part, while the visitors had none. Jesus was the star in several of them, but the best moment in the first half came from Martinelli, who missed from an excellent position, after Edengaard and Saka had worked together.

The latter executed a corner from the right at 1-0Van Hecke headed back badly and fed him Jesus, who was unmarked at the second post and headed the ball into the net. In the 83rd minute, Brighton missed a huge chance to equalize. Mitoma made a nice turn from the left and Gross missed from a great position. In the 88th minute, the “gunners” practically “locked” the victory. Arteta’s side played superbly on the counter-attack, with Havertz to receive the ball, to go one-on-one with Ferbruggen, which he executed.

Aston Villa were beaten 2-1 by a terrific upset at home to Brentford, a week after their big win over Arsenal, and continued their wild run. Lewis-Potter opened the scoring in the 45th minute, taking advantage of… a storm in the visitors’ defense. Things changed in the 71st minute, with Mee facing red after a hard foul on Bailey. Six minutes later, Moreno equalized with a header, while the turnaround was completed in the 85th minute with Watkins “hurting” his former club with a header. The match had a lot of tension and nerves in the last with Boubakar facing the red card at 90’+8′.

One… bite made Wolves n West Ham, winning 3-0 at home. The great protagonist was Koundous, having an excellent collaboration with Paketas (three assists). In the 22nd minute he sent the ball into the net with a terrific shot, while ten minutes later he teamed up with the Brazilian and then executed Bentley. Paketas also started the 3rd goal, with Bowen sending the ball into the net in the 74th minute.
