Faced with a serious charge is Chance Comanche. The 27-year-old power forward/center, who played in the G-League with the Stockton Kingsis accused together with his 19-year-old partner for the abduction and for her murder of the 23-year-old doctor from Washington who had been missing since December 5. The young woman’s body was found in Henderson, Nevada.
Comanchi and his partner, Sakari Harden, encountered Mareena Rogers on the night of December 5th, and two days later the ill-fated doctor’s company reported her missing. On December 15, the 27-year-old basketball player released by the Stockton Kings, the Sacramento Kings’ G-League affiliate, was arrested by the FBI and Las Vegas Police Department and is being held at the Sacramento Central Jail. The arrested couple’s arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, December 19 at 3:00 PM West Coast Time.
Comanche played at the University of Arizona from 2015 to 2017, went undrafted and played alternately for the Grizzlies and Cavaliers affiliates, in Turkey with Mamak Belediyesi (third division team), while having a brief stint with the Blazers and just one game in their jersey (7 points, 3 rebounds in 21 minutes).
