Volos: “Vergetis turned a blind eye to Bernard’s red card”

With the referee Vergetis who did not send off Bernard, as he claims, in yesterday’s defeat by Panathinaikos 3-0 at the Panthessaliko stadium, Volos did.

In the 48th minute of yesterday’s match between our team and Panathinaikos and while the result was 0-0, the referee Vergetis turned a blind eye to an obvious red card given to Panathinaikos footballer Bernard. And not only that, but not even notice him with a yellow card which again would be equivalent to his expulsion since it would be the second one.

Shame once again because the referees continue to follow the same tactic: To “whistle” in favor of the “big ones”, with the result that Greek football remains captive and mired in the mud.
