Threat to ban Brazilian football from all competitions

Wide open is the possibility of a punishment of her national team Brazil but also the country’s teams from all international competitions. This points out CONMEBOL and FIFA to the Brazilian government on the occasion of the decision of a court by which it removed from the leadership of the country’s football federation the former president, Indnaldo Rodríguez and at the same time obliging the football federation to hold elections for the election of the new one within a period of thirty days.

Such a decision is considered intervention of the political leadership of the country in self-governing of football which is considered as a necessary condition by all international confederations for a confederation to be and remain a member of them.

So the CONMEBOL and FIFA in an ultimatum sent to Brazil they inform that there should be no political interference and it should be restored. So if this does not happen it is pointed out that the punishment will be the exclusion of all Brazilian teams from the competitions and of course the Seleção as well. In fact, there are reports in the country that FIFA representatives will go to Brazil to discuss the problem in order to find a solution.
