Baba explained the reasons why he decided not to play for the Ghana national team

by

THE Baba Rahman will not strengthen her Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations and will remain at his disposal PAOKwhich was his decision.

The back of the “two-headed north” made a post about it on social media, explaining the reasons that led him to this choice and emphasizing that it was done for clean soccer players reasons, as he recovers from the injury which troubled him.

What Baba wrote in detail:

“Listen to me, I just wanted to say that the decision to opt out of the national team was purely based on footballing reasons and nothing else.

Playing for my country will always be the highlight of my career and every time I was lucky enough to pull on the shirt I gave it my all.

In recent years I have had to struggle with injuries and recoveries and I feel it is best in the interests of my career and the team to only play when I don’t have to think about recovery or pain – so I can always give my best.

A footballer’s life span is very short and sometimes we have to take these tough decisions for the sake of the nation we love the most and for the longevity of our football career.

I will support the national team until the end to win. But now let’s all support whoever the coach chooses because the most important thing is Ghana who is higher than all.

May God bless our country and make us great and strong.”
