The international player of the Women’s National Team played in the first half of the season for the French Sommelierand now he will strengthen the “yellows” for the continuation of the championship.

“A.S. ARIS and the Women’s Volleyball department announce the acquisition of the international player with the Women’s National Team, Elena Baca for the 2023-24 season.
The 22-year-old Greek volleyball player was born on October 15, 2001 in Thessaloniki and plays as a winger.
She took her first steps from our academies and competed for seven years at ARIS until 2019 where she won the pan-Hellenic championships in girls and juniors. In the 2019-2022 seasons due to her scholarship in the USA, she played first with Saint Mary’s College and later with Kansas State University in the US university league.
In the 2022-2023 season he played in Switzerland for Dudingen, while half of the 2023-24 season he played for French side Chamalieres.
It is noted that Elena Baca was a member of Eniki in the recent pan-European competition.
After the agreement with the ARIS Women’s Volleyball team, Elena Baca said:
“As a native of ARIS, I couldn’t help but feel immense joy and emotion for my return to the team and to my city. Although I have been abroad for the last 4.5 years, having gained several experiences, the proposal of ARIS was something I could not refuse.
I know the responsibilities and where the team is right now as we’re in the middle of the year. But certainly, our goals are anything but lofty. As the challenge is huge, the return of Giannis Giannakis and Ioannis Tsairelis to the team is what fills me with courage and hope to bring Aris to where it deserves to be.
Last and most important, I would like to mention that we are looking forward to the fans on our side, to fill the stadium with energy and support as always in each of our games! I would like to thank the management of AS ARIS for trusting me, once again, to be a member of the team. I will give my best to achieve our goals, with health above all.”
