Ricky Lindo was born in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, on September 10, 1992.

The American started his professional career in 2013, when he was selected in the NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, but ended up in the Mavericks. In his two-year stay in Dallas, Lido played mainly with the franchise’s affiliate team, averaging 14.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, while playing in 14 games with the first team. He finished the 2014-2015 season with the Knicks (7.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists).

In the 2015-2016 season, he played for the Knicks affiliate (21.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists) and the Santeros de Aguada (12.7 points, 4 rebounds, 2.7 assists). In 2016, he was transferred to Turkey and Yesilgiresun, with which he became the league’s top scorer with an average of 21.2 points.
