Unfathomable Girona, “treasured” Atletico in the 91st minute for 4-3 and remained at the top!

Girona stop it’s not funny anymore!

The terrible team from the small village of Catalonia has started to make us… crazy, since they did not “chew” even against the Atletico MADRID and defeated her with a score of 4-3 after a match, remaining on top with her Real Madrid at 48 points, and leaving the “Rojiblancos” at -10!

THE Girona looked like an ideal striker after going 3-1 up but saw the Madrid equalize thanks to a hat-trick from the formidable Alvaro Morata. Nevertheless, Mr Ivan Martin redeemed the hosts with a terrific goal in the 91st minute, giving them the right to celebrate another unthinkable victory this season.

Girona came into the match very strongly and took the lead in just the 2nd minute with Valerie Fernandez to open the scoring with a terrific finish. The reaction of the “Rojiblancos” was immediate, as they tied the match in the 14th minute, with Alvaro Morata scoring the first of his three goals on the night.

Girona’s dominance on the pitch continued and translated into two more goals, with Savio to write 2-1 in the 26th minute and celebrate in a… special way, and the experienced one Daley Blind to write 3-1 at 39′. THE Morata but he had not said his last word, as with a terrific dribble and “lob” he reduced it to 3-2 before the break, while he also scored a goal that was disallowed in the stoppage time of the half.

The ruckus continued in the second half, with Morata taking his amazing cross Rodrigo De Paul and defeat him again with a “loba”. Gazzaniga for Atlético’s 3-3. And while it seemed that the goals had… dried up and Real will smile with the “X” in the game, came Ivan Martin in the 91st minute to give victory to Girona, with an unimaginable shot into the home goal Jan Oblak.
