The match

Strong start from Kolossos, who was in control early on, going first to +8 (17-9) and then to +13 (26-13), in the 8th minute. In the last two minutes, Lavrio went on a 4-0 run (26-17), at the end of the first period.

The picture of the game was the same at the beginning of the second quarter, with Goudlock again sending the Rhodians to +13 (41-28), at 16′. However, the next few minutes belonged to the visitors, who, led by Thornton and Murato, closed the half with a 9-0 run (41-37).

With a 4-0 run, Kolossos entered the second half (45-37), with Lavrio reacting with Moore and Godika and bringing the match to the basket (49-47), at 25′. The home team’s response was emphatic, with Goudlock and Kamariano sending them back to +12 (64-52), with Horchler making it 64-54 in the third period.

With a three-pointer by Horchler, the guests entered the fourth period, but a “party” followed by Perantes and Sitou, who pushed the Rhodesians on a 12-0 run, for +19 (76-57), in the 34th minute. Then, Goudlock took action for Segura’s team, which escaped to +22 (83-61) and took the victory with the final 88-73.
