Hydirioti was the one who stopped the streak of the “Oranie” reducing to 10-5, but a new mistake by the Greek defense gave the Netherlands the opportunity to escape again to +6 (11-5). Patras in the above reduced again to 11-6, while Eleftheria Pleuritou made it 11-7 in the third period.

At the beginning of the fourth period, Nicole Eleftheriadou was down to 11-8, but Van der Sloot increased the lead again (12-8). Xenaki’s return brought Greece within three goals again (12-9), Holland again found the answer for 13-9. Hydirioti gave the last breath to the “blue and white”, with the “oranie” finding two goals for the final 15-10.
