THE Bayern Munich became the third team to officially pursue the Romanian central defender Radu Dragusin. In recent days there was a feeling that Tottenham would win the battle with Napoli and immediately acquire the 21-year-old defender from Genoa.
However, reports in Romania state that Bayern Munich has entered a “wedge” in the case and is attempting to obtain the footballer’s signature, with an amount exceeding 25 million euros.
Dragusin played on loan at Genoa and his performances led the Genoa club to spend €5.5 million to sign him.
This season he is constantly competing and is one of the most important players in Alberto Gilardino’s team. He has 22 games to his name with two goals and one assist and his performances have sparked the interest of Tottenham Hotspur and Napoli.
The news involving the German champions in the case was also confirmed by the well-known journalist Florian Plettenberg with a relevant post on his account.
