Among other things he said:
Regarding the lawsuits filed against the EPO, as well as its president, by Olympiakos: “This is a matter of justice. I cannot make any comment, it will be decided by the competent judicial bodies.”
On the toxic environment of Greek football: “It has always existed in the area of ​​Greek football, but we have made a great effort to make it disappear and decrease. I don’t see it happening, however, unfortunately.”
For the effort of the National team to qualify for the Euro: “EPO stands for national team and amateur football. It doesn’t mean arbitration, that’s why I don’t comment or answer about arbitration. For us, the qualification of the National team to the Euro is a priority. This is what interests us. Primary issue and we are working on this perspective. Both for EPO, as well as for the country and Greek football. Everything will be fine, I believe…”
For the Cup final and available pitches: “There are three pitches. In Patras, Volos and Heraklion. The possibilities we have. There is a fourth option, but I don’t want to say it now. At the end of January we believe we will have decided. Regarding the foreign perspective, I’m not saying it now, we said it last year… And there are many difficulties, especially for the teams. The schedule is tight because of the Euro.”
On whether he will run again for the presidency of the EPO: “Do I look tired at all? I’m not at all. The only tiring thing is rest. We are not talking about nominations. For the age limit, we will have a matter in the executive committee.”
