Chelsea are continuing discussions with Palmeiras for 16-year-old Estevao Willian, who is known as “Messinho”.
The promising winger has a release clause that exceeds 60 million euros, an amount that Barcelona, who are also monitoring the talented Brazilian’s case, cannot afford.
Nicknamed ‘Messinho’ due to his technical attributes with Inter Miami’s Argentinian star Lionel Messi, Estevao Willian has become the youngest Brazilian to be sponsored by Nike at the age of 10 in 2018.
The youngster made his debut for Abel Ferreira’s Palmeiras last December and became the fourth youngest player to do so.
Although Estevao is taking his first professional steps, he has already managed to attract the interest of several big European clubs, with Mundo Deportivo claiming that Barcelona are keen on the player and Deno has been in contact for the young ace’s transfer .
Since then, Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the player, who will be part of the Brazil U17 squad at the upcoming World Cup in Indonesia.
