Athens Kallithea was strengthened at the left end of the defense, with the acquisition of Marko Gevremovic. The Serbian full-back played last season in Cyprus, with the shirt of Paralimni, making 36 appearances. This year he started the season at Serbian side Zvijezda 09, from where he was released after seven appearances in the first division of Serbia.

Athens Kallithea FC announce the signing of Serbian left back Marko Jevremovic on a free transfer.

Jevremovic, 25, is a one-time international with the Serbian national team and has caps from the top divisions of Serbia, Cyprus, and Bosnia.

Born in Belgrade, Jevremovic came through the academies of local sides FK Rad and FK Brodarac and started out as a first-team player with Radnicki Obrenovac in the third division before earning a move to the Serbian SuperLiga with Mladost Lucani, making his debut in top division with the team in September 2018.

In July 2019, Jevremovic signed for FK Javor Ivanjica of the SuperLiga, where he immediately became an important figure for the team, making 63 appearances as a starter in the league over the next two seasons. When the team was relegated in 2020/21, Jevremovic remained with the team and helped Javor win direct promotion back to the SuperLiga.

Last season, Jevremovic left Serbia for Cyprus, and made 36 appearances in Cyprus’ first division with the Paralimni Youth Association. In the first half of the current season, Jevremovic made seven appearances in the Bosnian top-flight with Zvijezda 09 before terminating his contract and becoming a free agent.

As an international, Jevremovic is a one-time international with the Serbian national team, playing three years ago in a friendly match against Panama in January 2021.

Jevremovic has signed a contract with AKFC until the end of the 2023/24 season.
