Undoubtedly, a story that has stood out from the said documentary is the unlikely encounter the Greek superstar had with a store clerkwho was selling Giannis’ shirt!
The leader of the Bucks tried to negotiate the price of his shirt, with the seller fighting his own… battle in the bargain, being adamant and showing that he had no idea that Giannis was in front of himdespite the fact that he was trying to sell him the jersey with No. 34!
“I was negotiating. I know he made two dollars and told him I would give him three dollars for two jerseys but he refused. He was very good. I respect him for that.
And here’s the crazy thing! The guy who sold me the jersey had no idea who I was. He knew who Giannis Antetokounmpo was, but he didn’t know I was here selling him the look. That was a crazy experience,” said the “Greek Freak” characteristically!
