“Bam” with Austin Hollins, AEK Betsson!

A great move was made by AEK Betsson which he acquired by the end of the season Austin Hollins.

Austin Hollins was born in Chandler, Arizona on November 8, 1991.

The American graduated from the University of Minnesota, winning the championship in his senior year, even being the MVP of the season.

He began his professional career in France in 2014, wearing the jersey of Denain Voltaire for two consecutive years, averaging 11.3 points. In 2016, he went to Finland, on behalf of Kauhajoki, recording 16.6 points in 47 appearances.

For the next two years, he competed in Germany. The first year, at the GIESSEN 46ers (12 ppg) and the next at Rasta Vechta (17 ppg), before becoming a resident of Russia. At Zenit St. Petersburg, Hollins stayed for two competitive years. In the 2019-2020 season, he scored 11.6 points, in the league and Euroleague, while the next season he had 8.5 points.

In 2021, he was transferred to Red Star, with whom he won three trophies (Serbian Championship, Adriatic League, Serbian Cup), with an average of 9.5 points.

In the 2022-2023 season he was at Maccabi Tel Aviv, winning the championship in Israel. This season he competed with a short-term contract in Zalgiris.
