by

THE Daniele De Rossi gave his first press conference as its coach Rome and mentioned several things. The Italian spoke about him Francesco Tottibut he also commented on the fact that the Giallorossi fans are not so happy at the moment.

In addition, De Rossi revealed that he told the owners of the team that he does not want a certain amount and that they decide how much money they want to give him.

Everything he said in detail:

“I didn’t sign anything specific, I told the Friedkins to put in the amount they wanted. I will fight until I die to stay here, staying would be a dream for me”
he initially reported.

If he spoke to Totti: “Yes he sent me and wished me good luck, he was excited. We talk often and see each other whenever we can.”

If it was the right time to coach Roma: “Would it be a good time to refuse? You don’t reject Roma. It is a special case, there are people who refuse and people who throw themselves into battle. It’s not a nostalgic option, but the only reason I’d say no was if I thought the team was poor or mediocre. For me this team is strong, we will make a good impression and it will also help me in the development process.”

While for fans who are not happy right now he commented: “I don’t need extra stimuli and I’m not destabilizing this situation. It’s not a nice way to talk about the management’s decision, but surely managers have to take into account all the factors and among them is the reaction of the people towards the team.

The sell-outs of recent seasons have brought points to Roma, no one can play a more decisive role than the Giallorossi fans. I hope to take advantage of their enthusiasm, but of course they didn’t choose me because they were impressed by my experience at SPAL. But I think I’m not just here to calm things down, but also for my personality, because I’m a leader and so much more.”

When you entered the dressing room did you feel like a Roma coach? “Obviously, I didn’t dream of coming here because they would sack a coach like Mourinho. I feel like a Roma coach, but I don’t want to have a different relationship with the players. You can also respect yourself without pretending you were in that dressing room and meet different players. I don’t need to pretend anything, as soon as I enter the field I feel like a coach because the kids listen to me and follow me.”
